  • bad elbow

Just got home from gym and I'm having pain on inside and outside of elbow its always bothered me but its getting worse...any ideas using pressure wrap already was wondering g about cortisone or I think I read DECA has a lubricating effect thanks

Inside elbow is called golfers elbow, outside is Tennis elbow. My Specialist Doc suggested time off or those tennis elbow braces (reversed for golf elbow).

Cortisone+Deca would just be temporary fixes + may allow u to do more damage.

I took 1 wk off then did low weight high reps for 3 wks + I now wear those elbow wraps- all is good now - plus I thoroughly warmup.

Yeah cortisone will always help, but if you continue to train heavy it will take a lot longer to go away. Deca will also help, so it depends on what you want to do. Either way it's going to take a while to go away.

I've been reading the tennis elbow threads recently, as I'm convinced I have a nasty case of it at the moment. It actually feels better when I'm warmed up and working out than when I'm not. Anyway, I'm going to look into a brace or wrap. I looked at one at Walmart today but it looked a bit flimsy and was just marketed as an elbow wrap. Anyone recommend a decent one that focuses on tennis elbow?

this is the one I like - +it's cheap.
like u said it just keeps my elbow warmed up and a little compression which seems to help.
