  • 1" vs 11/2" by 23 Guage needle.

I have been using 11/2" needles for my bi weekly shots. I just switched to a more comfortable 1" needle but now I have some soreness. I am doing my shots in my glutes. Any ideas why I have the soreness now?

Not getting as deep in muscle, so it's having a harder time absorbing. 1 inch is good for thighs and delts, if your just gonna pin the glutes ID use what you got now and re up with 1.5 "

If you've got really thick thighs then you may need to use a longer pin. Might start rubbing the injection site right after the pin. A foam roller might help too.
