  • Getting back into it.... need help.

    I am in my 40's and have decided its time to get back into the click of things. I have used steroids in the past during my younger years as a powerlifter. Right know I am in the building my cardio and shedding some weight (fat) stage. I have a lower back issue (2 perforated disc) which causes pain but I am going to fight through it. I have noticed in the past when I lose weight, my back pain doesn't go completely away but doesn't bother me as bad. I have been informed that if I can strengthen my core it will help combat the lower back pain. I have a couple of questions and I hope I'm at the right place.
    1. what supplements are out there that will help me get my ass of the couch and work out? (Something to provide energy.)
    2. Once I start lifting again, what supplements should I take to cut body fat but help in toning?
    Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

    Hey brother the only thing that's going to get your ass off the couch is YOU!!! Tighten your diet up and do cardio and you'll loose the fat, steroids are not a miracle drug like the media makes it out to be. You still need to work your ass off and then work it some more!!

      LOL, I'm doing it, It's just hard to get motivated sometimes. I have taken Jack 3d in the past and it seemed to do well in helping me get going but now they have banned it, I haven't found anything to take its place. Is there anyone out there that knows a supplement which is as good as Jack 3d?

        people might laugh at me, but i slam 16ounces of black coffee right before a workout and it works great and its cheap as shit. The preworkout now a days dont really doing anything but make your skin itch. Theyve banned anyting that works, so make a pot of coffee, pour it into a cup and add some ice.

          billwv68's, We all go through it, we're tired before we train, but it's dedication and wanting something bad enough to just do it. Trust me, I get up at 5am every day and work my ass off and then I have to train, yeah it sucks but if you want it bad enough you'll do it. Try the coffee thing like CB says and see if that will help you!

            I'm not laughing, it works as good as a lot of things I have tried.
