What kind of music do you guys like to listen to when you're at the gym? I've been listening to a lot of Skrillex's remixes lately. For whatever reason, Dubstep gets me pumped haha

Unless doing cardio nothing. Actually I prefer ear plugs so when guys drop their 3 or 4 hundred lb barbells Ii doesn't scare the crap out of me, lol. I tried the Ipod while lifting I think it messes up the concentration, for me at least. -

Yeah, I use music as my ear plugs :P Plus it usually keeps people from trying to talk to me.. nothing worse than someone interrupting you in the middle of a set.

Yea bro skrillex mixes and 75% of my playlist for the gym is staind. Some older limp bizkit is in there too from before they became a bunch of pussies. Got a few chevelle and all that remains songs too. Now whats funny is my training partner listens to a country pandora station and gets pumped off someone singing about their woman leaving them or their dog dying...Comment

Thats great to see an American into Dubstep. Dubstep was formed in the UK underground years back and has become huge over the last decade. As Rap/Hip hop etc is so popular over here in the UK its good to see the U.S feeling our vibe too. Have you guys got U.K Grime yet? Its a sort of fusion of Rap/Garage and mcing. Its similar to hip hop only faster and more upbeat. It emerged in the UK underground about 15 yrs ago and is very very popular here. Artists like Dizzee Rascal, Tinchy Stryder, Tinie Tempah, Wiley etc all started out in the Grime scene. Do u guys in the U.S know these artists.

Yeah good tune man. I do like Skrillex from what im hearing so far. I think ive heard his stuff before in clubs here. U can defo tell the difference in style between the U.S and U.K styles tho. Uk stuff plays about with more lower warped bassline type stuff, Skrillex seems to use more higher pitched sounds.
