Well gents getting married again second time.......I know I said I would never do it again but I am......any advice from you guys on the second go around would greatly be appreciated.....I know I'm a sucker....but I think I messed up my first marriage all on my own I would like to do a better job this go around

I think the best thing to do is not sweat the small stuff. Shit that really don't matter isn't worth fighting over, even if she doesn't, you let go of the small shit and let her feel good that she thinks she won. I'm 51 years old and this is definitely one of the things I do k now, make her happy and you'll be happy!!!! Good luck brother, prayin for ya!

Congrats brother.Well being happily married for over 30 yrs now I can honestly say thats she has been the best part of my life and my strength through many a hard time.

Best thing you have to remember is ALWAYS remember the love you 2 share that brought you together and to the decision to get married.NEVER let hard times,money troubles,stress at work,etc cloud that love between you 2.That is the breaker of many a marriage.Taking it out on each other.You 2 are now a team and have to work TOGETHER to beat any obstacle that is thrown in front of you.

Secondly,always remember the little things man.I still to this day write my Queen loves letters or stop at the store and pick her up a card or a little gift and put messages in them stating just how much I love her and appreciate her.Text her these messages just out of the blue,Call her to say you love her and were just thinking of her.Its those little things that will keep things alive and vibrant throughout your marriage brother.Don't get into that macho male BULLSHIT that wont let you do these things or say I love you in front of your buddies.Fuk that man.I say I love her all the time in front of everyone and we still blow each other kisses.We hold hands whenever were out,we hug,etc,etc,etc.

Same thing that is that of honeymooners should remain the same through the yrs brother.

In addition,communication is always the key.Discuss things with her,good and bad.That way it doesnt build up and you 2 can work it out before it gets out of hand.

There are so many little things that add up to HUGE dividends when it comes to keeping a happy marriage man.Too many to list here but please,at any time you wish to pick my brain,im always here.

Agree with Mr. Big very well said I think you speak for us all F.I.S.T.!!! This is my second marriage first one lasted 5 years, which really pushed the limits. But thus one man there is nothing I wouldn't do for her, they say everyone has a soulmate, well we are soulmates, I have never been happier we have been married for 17 years now. As much as I disagree with you on everything, this is it. She has to always come first, wether it be before you, your friends, or kids. If that relationship isn't solid, none of your other ones will be. Like fist said, after seven years I still send random flowers every few weeks, sneak love notes in her luch every few days, and going down on her a few times a week is really effective too lol

Agreed. Me and my wife always say we arent going to get each other anything on birthdays or anniversaries and suchbut like cmode said i surprise her with stuff all the tinelike notes or random small things. Then you got ti throw something big in as well every so often. Notes are the good one slipped in her lunch box or purse.

Thanks for all the kind words guys.After 30 yrs of being married,trust me ive made my share of mistakes and its always a learning and growing thing.Same as with everything in life.

If you can accept that you are always in need of improvement in EVERYTHING,then its that much easier to learn new things with each passing day.Im never too proud to admit that im still trying and EAGER to learn something new all the time.

Thanks everyone and yeah she knows I've trained most of my life and I've never tried to keep any secrets from her she doesn't approve but I've been on the stuff for the better part of my life and I figure if I quit now my body probably would never make any test again......Mr big we have a couple things in common our age and still working out.......I love watching the kids faces when I bench 545...us ole guys rule........Thanks for all the advice guys......I'm going to take this one a little slower I have to she's 17 years younger than me
